When it comes to completing the FISAP, financial aid professionals would likely welcome any help.

Schools using EdExpress for Windows now have a service release available that adds a new summary field on the FISAP reports, aiding in the completion of the FISAP.

In a September 12 Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education stated that a new service release is available for EDExpress for Windows 2024–25, Release 2.0.

The service release updates the FISAP reports available in the Application Processing and Packaging modules to add a Maximum Pell summary field. This impacts the following sections of the FISAP: Dependent Students Summary, Independent Students Summary, Eligible Dependent Students, and Eligible Independent Students reports in both modules.

Users must have EDExpress 2024–25, Release 2.0 installed on their PC before running this service release file, which can be downloaded from the Software and Other Tools page of the Knowledge Center website.
