
EDExpress users now have access to the EDExpress for Windows 2026-27, Release 1.0 software, which includes legislative updates and changes implemented during the 2026-27 FAFSA beta testing.
In a recent Electronic Announcement, Federal Student Aid announced the availability of EDExpress for Windows 2025-26, Release 2.0, which is available in the Software and Other Tools area of the Knowledge Center website.
Features and functionality included in this release are Global, Application Processing, Packaging, and College Financing Plan functionality for the 2026–27 cycle.

EDExpress users will find enhanced print functionality for reports, lists, letters, and other documents to improve readability, standardized reports across programs, and additional formatting options for user-defined text. In addition, the installation and initial setup process has been redesigned, as outlined in the announcement.
