Several resources are now available for EDExpress users with Release 2.0 of the 2026-27 EDExpress for Windows software.

Federal Student Aid recently announced the availability of EDExpress for Windows 2026-27, Release 2.0, which is available in the Software and Other Tools area of the Knowledge Center website.

This release includes full Pell Grant, Direct Loan, and TEACH grant functionality for the 2026-27 award year, as well as functionality for reporting Federal Work-Study (FWS) student data using the Campus-Based common record schema.

Several major enhancements related to the Budget Reconciliation Bill are part of the release, including the new and revised fields that were recently implemented to the 2026-27 Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR), implementation of Workforce Pell, and Direct Loan limits. Since rulemaking is currently in process for many of the new provisions from the Budget Reconciliation Bill, any changes from the forthcoming regulations would be provided at a later date.
