This past academic year has been one of change for the Department of Education and, as a result, for financial aid professionals.

To help financial aid professionals with the changes, Federal Student Aid (FSA) has made available a video about making corrections in the FAFSA Partner Portal. To access the video:

  • Go to the FSA Training Center at FSAtraining.ed.gov
  • On the homepage select “Recorded Webinars and Training” tab
  • Select “FAFSA Simplification” track
  • Log in to view the recording

No-cost technical assistance is also available to schools who wish to utilize third-party services to submit corrections through the FAFSA Partner Portal by submitting an in-take form to the Department.

A PDF version of the FAFSA Portal Training Resource is also available.

The FAFSA Partner Portal replaced the FAA Access to CPS Online starting with the 2024-25 application cycle according to a recent Electronic Announcement from Federal Student Aid (FSA).

Financial aid administrators who need to access 2023-24 student information continue to do so via faaAccess.ed.gov.
