If your school is open on Monday, February 16, don’t forget that federal offices will be closed to observe Washington’s Birthday.

The Department of Education recently announced the processing schedule and customer service hours for the various Federal Student Aid centers.

The FAFSA Processing System (FPS) will accept data on February 16 but will not process data or send ISIRs until February 17.

The Common Origination and Disbursement System (COD) will accept and process data from schools and will send responses/acknowledgments on February 16; however, schools will not receive federal funds on that day. Any requests for changes in funding levels and funds will be processed on February 17.

While federal offices will be closed, all Federal Student Aid websites will be operational on February 16.
