After several years of hosting a virtual conference, the Department of Education is once again hosting an in-person training conference.
In a December 15 Electronic Announcement, the Department announced that the in-person Federal Student Aid (FSA) Training Conference will be held March 4-6, 2026 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. It was noted in the announcement that FSA will not reserve a block of hotel rooms for the conference.
The conference will provide the Department with an opportunity to connect with industry partners and share important updates, including the latest financial aid policy and operational updates, keynote addresses from U.S. Department of Education leaders, general sessions about key topics, and an exhibit hall. Developments on the Budget Reconciliation Bill will also be shared.
In the upcoming weeks, information will be provided on registration. Due to limited space, the Department is working on a process to fairly allocate seats to allow for representation of their industry partners. Sessions will also be recorded and posted.
The Department is also planning future training opportunities, both in-person and virtual, with details coming soon.
Further information can be found in the Knowledge Center website and FSA Training Conference Home.
