Both new and experienced financial aid professionals will benefit from two new courses offered by the Federal Student Aid (FSA) Training Center.

The two new microlearning courses on the FAFSA Partner Portal (FPP) include:

FPP Overview and Applicant View – This includes a general overview of the FAFSA Partner Portal to help users become familiar with the look and functionality of the site. A video is available that walks through the process of looking up a student and navigating the details of a transaction.

Making Corrections in FPP – This course provides an overview of when and why a student or school may want to update the information the applicant originally provided on the FAFSA. A video is available on how to make a basic correction through FPP.

To enroll in this training:

  • Log into the FSA Training Center at fsatraining.ed.gov
  • Select “Systems Training” from the black main menu bar
  • Select “FAFSA Partner Portal.”

Additional FPP training will be available soon covering professional judgments, dependency overrides, homeless youth determinations, parent killed in the line of duty determinations, and high school search.

Questions about the FSA Training Center offerings can be sent to helpdesk.fsatraining@ed.gov.
