If you want to update your financial aid reading list, the latest volumes of the 2024-25 Federal Student Aid Handbook have just been released by the Department of Education (ED).
The July 24 Electronic Announcement from ED announced the availability of Volume 8 – The Direct Loan Program and Volume 9 – The Teach Grant Program, along with an edit to Chapter 4 of the Application and Verification Guide (AVG).
The Federal Student Aid Handbook, which is available in both a digital and PDF version, consists of the Application and Verification Guide, nine numbered volumes, and appendices. Readers can find the FSA Handbook posted on Federal Student Aid’s Knowledge Center.
