Charles L. Shor Foundation Epilepsy Scholarship – This $5,000 award is designed to assist students currently being treated for active epilepsy seizures who plan to purse a college education. Applicants must be a high school senior, high school graduate (including GED), or current college undergraduate, legal U.S. resident, have physician-documented, active epilepsy seizures within the previous 12 months as of the application deadline, not be a candidate for surgery, and be currently on medication to treat epilepsy. They must plan to enroll as a full-time or part-time undergraduate at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or technical college in the U.S. for the upcoming academic year. Women at Microsoft Scholarship– High school seniors planning to enroll in college to purse a degree related to technology, engineering, math, or computer science are eligible to apply for one of up to 16 $5,000 awards. Awards are one-time only and for undergraduate study only. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior planning to enroll full-time in technology, engineering, math, or computer science as an undergraduate at an accredited U.S. two- or four-year college, university, or technical college for the upcoming year, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. International students are eligible if enrolling in a U.S. college or university. Employees and the children of employees of Microsoft are ineligible. Deadline: March 16
Black at Microsoft Scholarship – Up to 55 scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 will be awarded to high school seniors who plan to enroll at a four-year college or university in the fall following high school graduation, and plan to pursue a STEM or Business-related field. Applicants must plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing, The must have a passion for technology, have demonstrated leadership at school or in their community, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. International students are eligible if enrolling in a U.S. college or university. Employees and the children of employees of Microsoft are ineligible. Deadline: March 16
Wells Fargo Stacey Milbern Scholarship – This renewable scholarship is available to students with disabilities as they pursue their education. The awards include either $1,250 for part-time students or $2,500 for full-time students and are renewable based on maintaining a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must have an identified disability, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a high school senior or graduate or a current undergraduate student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S. for the upcoming academic year. Deadline: March 20 (or when the first 700 completed applications are received)
Essential Visionaries Scholarship Fund – Students pursuing an undergraduate degree or certificate in education, counseling, psychology, or nursing through a college or technical school program with a desire to be a professional in the K-12 school system or healthcare field are eligible to apply for this renewable scholarship. Recipients at two-year schools will receive an award of up to $5,000 and those attending a four-year school will receive an award of up to $10,000. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a 2.0 GPA and continued enrollment. Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates, GED graduates, or current college undergraduates. Individuals who have been granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA) are eligible to apply. Deadline: April 15
