
Most students know that applying for scholarships takes a lot of work. Successful students know the time spent on scholarships is worth it because of the funds and recognition received.
Scholarship America recently published a list of a few scholarships students may want to consider seeking, including:
SMART Scholarship Program – This SMART scholarship offers merit-based, full-tuition STEM scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in one of the SMART STEM disciplines. In addition to the full-tuition award, annual stipends, summer internships, and civilian employment with the DoD upon graduation are also included. Deadline: December 5
Scholarship America Dream Award– Established by Scholarship America, this scholarship is designed to help students planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a two-year, four-year college, university, or technical college. Awards of up to $10,000 will be made. Deadline: December 9
BURGER KING Scholars Program –The Burger King Scholars Program offers scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $60,000 for students attending a college, university, or technical college. Scholarship tracks include a general track and an employee-based track. Applicant submissions will be capped at 30,000 applicants. Deadline: December 15
Equitable Excellence Scholarship– Equitable will award 100 $5,000 annual scholarships that are renewable for up to four years for a total of $20,000 per recipient. High school seniors with financial need who plan to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year college or university can apply. Deadline: December 18
Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship – High school seniors planning to pursue a major in computer science or other computer science related field of study can earn up to $40,000 for college, plus paid internship opportunities at Amazon. Deadline: January 15
