To improve transparency, institutional accountability, and general deterrence, the Department of Education will be posting the status, including any enforcement actions, of colleges participating in federal financial aid programs.
Federal Student Aid announced that starting August 14, they will post the status of Program Participation Agreements (PPAs), required of those schools participating in one or more Title IV (federal financial aid) programs.
This will include all provisional PPAs executed between January 1, 2024, and June 26, 2024. FSA will make updates to the website to indicate changes to PPA statuses for schools and will add copies of provisional PPAs issued after June 26, 2024.
A list of adverse administrative actions initiated on or after October 1, 2021 through July 31, 2024, is also posted and will be updated on a quarterly basis. The next quarterly update will be after October 1.
