The first step to complying with new regulations is learning how to comply.

Training is key. And the Department of Education announced that, as a result of feedback and questions received, they are offering a supplemental training resource to help schools comply with the FVT/GE reporting requirements and review of the Completers List process.

The Department suggests schools use this training resource along with the NSLDS FVT/GE User Guide and also monitor the Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment Information page on the Knowledge Center.

Questions can be directed to the following:

  • Questions about the guide – can be directed to NSLDS Customer Support Center at 1-800-999-8219 or by email at nslds@ed.gov
  • Policy questions about the FVT/GE regulations – can be sent to GE24@ed.gov
  • Operational questions about FVT/GE – can be sent to GEOperations@ed.gov.

The announcement also includes a PDF version of the NSLDS FVT GE Supplemental Training Resource in PDF Format, 18 Pages, 996KB
