Knowing the tentative amounts of funding is a key component in the 2025-26 award year planning process for financial aid professionals.
In a recent Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education announced that the Tentative funding levels and worksheets for Federal Work-Study (FWS) and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) programs for the 2025-26 award year have been posted to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) website.
The Financial Aid Administrator needs to:
- Log in to the COD website and from the School tab
- Select “Campus-Based” from the left menu
- Select the “Self Service” option from the left menu
- Select “Notifications”
Please note that as of January 31, the 2025-26 Campus-Based Programs appropriations have not yet been determined, thus the amounts are based on the 2024-25 award year appropriations.
If the information on the worksheets is not correct or is inconsistent with the prior year funding levels, the school needs to notify the FSA Partner and School Relations Center at 1-800-848-0978 no later than February 21, 2025. Questions about the tentative funding levels can also be directed to CODSupport@ed.gov.
