
Colleges that need to report foreign gifts and contracts will want to make note of an upcoming training webinar.
In a December 5 Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education announced that they are offering a training webinar, “Using the New Section 117 Reporting Portal” for schools required to report foreign gifts and contracts.
The training webinar will be held on Monday, December 15 at 2:30 p.m. (Eastern) with advance registration required. The registration link is available at Training Webinar: Using the New Section 117 Reporting Portal.
In addition to a welcome, introduction, and comments by Department of Education officials, the training will include an explanation of the access authorization process and a demonstration of the new portal, including a moderated question-and-answer chat session.
