
Hopefully, you will be enjoying Thanksgiving day and not working, but if you do need to work, you should know that some Federal Student Aid offices are taking a break or will have modified hours.
Federal Student Aid (FSA) announced that their offices and contact centers will be closed on Thursday, November 27, in observance of Thanksgiving. All FSA websites will be operational on the holiday.
Modified hours surrounding the holiday include:
- FSA Partner and School Relations Center (including COD, FSA Partner Connect, and NSLDS) – will close at 3 p.m. Eastern time (ET) on Wednesday, November 26.
- Federal Student Aid offices, the FPS Help Desk, and the FSA Partner and School Relation Center (including COD, FSA Partner Connect, and NSLDS) – will be closed on Friday, November 28.
The FAFSA Processing System (FPS) will accept data on Thursday, November 27, but will not process data or send ISIRS until Friday. The Common Origination and Disbursement System (COD) will accept and process data from schools and will send responses/acknowledgments on Thursday, November 27; however, schools will not receive any federal funds that day. Any requests for changes in funding levels and funds will be processed on Friday, November 28.
