Financial aid and college access professionals can now access Information and screenshots for the 2027-28 FAFSA to use for planning purposes, communicating changes, and training.
A September 3 Electronic Announcement from Federal Student Aid (FSA) includes a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and PDF file with information and screenshots of the 2027–28 online FAFSA form. The screenshots can be used for staff training and financial aid event presentations.
The presentation includes information on the following common scenarios:
- Creating a StudentAid.gov account.
- Completing and submitting a FAFSA form as a dependent or independent student in various scenarios.
- Editing a submitted FAFSA to add a school, replace an invited contributor, or update response to the homeless determination question.
- A student looking for their required contributor’s invitation code.
FSA points out that the data used in the presentation is test data and some screenshots and labels may differ from the actual FAFSA that will be available by October 1.
