2024-25 award year training courses on the FSA Training Center will be removed soon

By Marlene Seeklander

Financial aid professionals who need to finish any of the 2024-25 award year specific training courses need to do so soon before the courses are removed.

Since most of the online courses in the FSA Training Center are award year specific, the 2024-25 training courses will be removed on June 27 and replaced with the 2025-26 award year courses on June 30.

Anyone in the middle of the FSA Basic Training for New Staff or any of the Learning Tracks, must finish their work by June 27 or they can opt to wait for the release of the 2025-26 training. Each year the content is updated to incorporate new guidance and learning activities.

Financial aid professionals enrolled in the FSA Fundamentals Training Series can either complete the course by June 27 or stop working on it and wait until June 30 to start the 2025-26 FSA Fundamentals Online course.

Users will need to start 2025-26 courses from the beginning as completion progress doesn’t carry over from one year’s courses to the next year.

Questions about specific training situations and completion of courses can be sent to helpdesk.fsatraining@ed.gov.
