Although submitting the FISAP is behind you, you still can make any needed corrections and updates by December 15.
In a recent Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education reminds schools that any changes, corrections, or edits to the recent FISAP must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern time (ET) on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Before that date, schools must ensure that the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and Federal Work Study (FWS) expenditures reported on the FISAP reconcile with the drawdown activity in G5. Additional information is provided in the announcement.
Any edit errors that occurred when the FISAP was originally completed and submitted must have edit corrections submitted by the December 15 deadline. The announcement includes more details on this process.
Schools with a Federal Perkins Loan Revolving Fund must report the amount of cash on hand as of October 31, 2025. This update is made in Part III, Section A, Line 1.2 of the FISAP.
Schools are reminded to submit all corrections by using the “Submit” button. You will be able to see that the changes/corrections have been received by the Department by logging in to the COD website, and from the “School” tab, select the “Campus-Based” link. By selecting “Self-Service” and “Submission Log” you can verify submission of the update.
Schools are not required to resend signature pages when submitting changes and corrections.
Questions about FISAP corrections or edit processing should be directed to the FSA Partner and School Relations Center at 1-800-848-0978 or by sending an email to CODSupport@ed.gov.
