If you are working on February 17, don’t forget that federal offices will be closed to observe Washington’s Birthday.
The Department of Education recently announced the processing schedule and customer service hours for the various Federal Student Aid centers.
The FAFSA Processing System (FPS) will accept data on February 17 but will not process data or send ISIRs February 18.
The Common Origination and Disbursement System (COD) will accept and process data from schools and will send responses/acknowledgments on February 17; however, schools will not receive federal funds on that day. Any requests for changes in funding levels and funds will be processed on February 18.
While federal offices will be closed, all Federal Student Aid websites will be operational on February 17.
