If you want to update your financial aid reading list, the latest volumes of the 2025-26 Federal Student Aid Handbook have just been released by the Department of Education (ED).
The April 18 Electronic Announcement from ED announced the availability of Volume 3 – Academic Years, Academic Calendars, Payment Periods, and Disbursements and Volume 7 – The Federal Pell Grant Program.
The Federal Student Aid Handbook, which is available in both a digital and PDF version, consists of the Application and Verification Guide, nine numbered volumes, and appendices. Readers can find the FSA Handbook posted on Federal Student Aid’s Knowledge Center.
