Students interested in kicking off the fall by completing a college admissions requirement can register now for the October ACT and/or SAT test.

The early registration deadline for the October 18, 2005 ACT test is September 12, with the late registration deadline on September 30. Registration takes about 30 minutes to complete and requires students to register online, pay the fee, and upload a recent photo.

Fees for the test are listed on the registration page and include reports to the student, the high school, and the college. Some students may be eligible for a fee waiver.

The photo is required for identification and test security purposes. If a student fails to upload a photo, they will be turned away from taking the test on their registered date.

The October ACT testing date is one of only three test dates each year in which test takers can request the “ACT My Answer Key” – a copy of the questions and answers. This is available for purchase for up to 6 months for test takers to use as a prep tool for taking the ACT test again.

The registration deadline for the October 4, 2025 SAT test is September 19. (September 23 is the deadline for changes, regular cancellation, and late registration.)

The fee for the two main sections (Math and Reading and Writing) is $68. Additional registration fees are charged for various services including cancellation, late cancellation, and late registration. Fee waivers are available for eligible students.
